34mi. (2400 vert, 100% gravel)
April 12th, arrive @ 9am for coffee.
10am departure.
Meet HERE (Aunt Libby’s Dog Cemetary— no services_. The ride is a loop and will end here.
It takes ~1.5 hrs to drive to the meeting spot.
-
Social pace, ~5hrs, guided-ish, participants expected to be self sufficient-ish, pack & carry ur own lunch. Gravel bikes and hard tail mtn bikes best (100% of the ride is on dirt). Full suspension is okay too, it’s just less efficient. NO ROAD BIKES.
Tubeless tires recommended. There are a couple sections of sharp-ish rocks.
-
Biking is fun. People are cool. So is exploration. Come as you are be as you are. Weirdos welcome.
-
We’re a crew of SLC folk who believe that the more butts on bikes, the better our city. ALL WELCOME. Bike.Club meets every Wednesday for a 10 mile party cruise through the heart of downtown SLC.
-
We’ll begin the ride together and plan to stop intermittently for snacks/water/lunch. Depending upon pace of the group we may choose to split into two ride groups (cruisers and hammerheads). We will end the loop back at the cars. This is not a race, it’s a journey.

The bike is our tool to connect, enjoy, discover the valley, and spend quality time with a crew of good peeps.

Tubeless tires recommended. Hard tail mtn bike is best! Full suspension is good too. There are a couple sections of sharp-ish rocks. Experienced riders can use gravel bikes. No road bikes.
-
If ride paces aren’t aligned such that we can all ride together, then we will split into two crews: The Cruisers— leisurely paced, enjoyable cruise. This group soaks in the scenery, and goes the pace of the “cruisiest rider” 2) The Hammerheads— expected to be self-sufficient, this group rides as hard as you want with options to add extra miles.

“Before the adventure I was nervous about my ability to complete the ride. But I was open, excited and prepared to experience discomfort.
Now I feel capable, strong, grounded, seen, held, supported, valued and have like 3 new friends. The ride brought me back to an inner knowing that tribe is important; that we need to make time for one another; and that playfulness is never far away.”
DON’T BE A DUMMY, STAY IN THE LOOP
